About Us

Steve James is a full time sales associate with Coldwell Banker Action Realty in New Port Richey, Florida. Steve merged into his family's business "The James Team" which Dianne started shortly after she and her husband Dave moved to Florida in 1999. Shortly afterwards Dave followed into the business. My youngest sister Suzanne jioned the team later. For three years they had been members of either the Coldwell Banker International Diamond Society or the Coldwell Banker International Sterling Society. Dave, Dianne and Steve are licensed by the State of Floridaand Steve is a member of The National Association of Realtors®, The Florida Association of Realtors® and The West Pasco Board of Realtors®.  They continue to attend courses in ethics, technology, real estate law and other pertinent areas. They find that, by working as a team, they can serve their customers more efficiently and make your transaction go as smooth as possible.

The personal background of both Dave and Dianne has prepared them to understand and appreciate your desires and needs. Both were born and raised in southeastern Pennsylvania. Dave grew up in suburban Philadelphia, while Dianne was learning farm life in the Lehigh Valley. While living in various homes in Chester County, Pennsylvania, they raised four children, Steve, Mike, Karen and Suzanne. Through the process of up-sizing and downsizing, they developed an interest in the Real Estate industry. Dave spent over 30 years in the automotive industry in sales and management, while Dianne juggled both motherhood and career in the manufacturing, sales, financial and the education fields. In addition to their careers, they have held numerous volunteer positions in their Church, Lions Club, Habitat for Humanity, and the Boy Scouts of America (including a tour of duty as Scoutmaster). In their spare time, they became avid boaters spending most of their free time on the Chesapeake Bay. The short boating seasons in Maryland caused them to dream of the endless summers of Florida.

Suzanne is the first of the family to discover the wonders of life on the west coast of Florida. She attended the University of Tampa and graduated from the College of Business of The University of South Florida with a degree in Finance. Dave and Dianne moved to the area in the late 90’s. Steve and Karen have since relocated to the area leaving only Mike and his wife, Kristie in Pennsylvania. Steve has an extensive background in the automobile body business and in 2007 decided to take the leap into real estate. He has since taken full control of "The James Team" and earned the "new associate achievement award" in 2008. In 2009 he received the "Million Dollar Producer" recognition.

Steve is proud to carry on the family business and work hand-in-hand with other co-workers to give the best service possible to other real estate professionals and all persons interested in buying or selling a home in the Tampa Bay area.
